Pablo Eskimo Biography

Somewhere inside Pablo Eskimo is a strong desire to make interesting music.

Alaine taught herself to play bass in 6 weeks and can sing like a crazed rock star wannabe chick. Rob is obsessed with catchy music and wants to be liked so hopes that being in a band will make him new friends and actually help him learn to play the guitar. No one knows why John does what he does, but does it really matter when he gets behind a drum kit?

Pablo Eskimo have wide and varied influences which end up with dynamic, dirty rock music performed with an enthusiasm that flows to every crowd that have witnessed the band play.

Pablo Eskimo have managed to play the main stage at Dunstaffnage Music Festival, the Hilton Hotel in Prague, have supported Glasvagas and somehow managed to blag a support slot at the Carling Academy as well as plenty of other gigs around Scotland.  They’ve also shot two music videos in-between partying like a rock band should. With radio play from Vic Galloway, Jim Gellatly, various podcasts around the globe and two tracks being used in short indie films, Pablo Eskimo are a band to keep your eye on.

The band have most recently been voted one of the best unsigned bands on XRP radio, with their song Bunny boiler featuring as one of the ‘6 best tracks’ to feature on the radio station.
